The side milling cutter you refer to I assume is the same as a slitting saw. Unfortunately I don't have a right angle attachment for my milling machine so, for the specific piece I need to put the slot in I can't set it up properly to use one. As far as grinding is concerned, I really appreciate all the info (instruction) you provided.
